rationality and wonder

Science and wonder are entwined, but once we adopt the rational and systematic scientific mindset can we recapture our awe-filled sense of wonder?
Good question and a relatively straight-keeled article.

  1. Neil deGrasse Tyson claims to enjoy the wonders of the universe. Theoretical physics seems to deal in the strangest of things though.

  2. Is breathing a science? Breathing in, I calm my senses. Breathing out, I am grateful of the frugal yet prudent Budget 2016 approved by my President this year. Supply Act 2016 is not perfect perhaps, but as 9 November 2016 gets nearer and nearer, I praise the Good Lord over a choice many years ago that I seldom regret as a Singaporean.

Thank You President Barack Obama in a rousing speech this afternoon in Laos too! :)

Can a scientist become emotional? Sure.

But in order to follow scientific methodology he or she needs to be calm and rigorously analytical.
