arms dealer to the world

Former U.S. president and World War II D-Day commander Dwight Eisenhower famously warned Americans against the rise of the "military-industrial complex." Judging by the following podcast, his warning has gone unheeded. On my own small stage, today's realities contribute to a sense that the next president of the United States, Hillary Clinton, whatever the wonders of her becoming America's first woman president, is basically a good ol' boy wearing girl's clothes.

HOW THE PENTAGON BECAME THE WORLD'S WEAPON SYSTEM SUPERSTORE

The United States sells weapons around the world. It sells them to governments it approves of, such as the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands and others.
But it also sells to countries that - to put it in the best light - it has mixed feelings about: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Iraq, Rwanda to name just a few. Israel presents its own unique challenges, being both a close military ally and a democracy, but with policies that drive Washington mad.

  2. I have a feeling that I may be voting a female Muslim President really soon. It's just an intuitive or on hindsight feeling, from what happens in London when they voted a Muslim Mayor as well as brought in a female Premier, and what is going on in the United States as well with Hillary.
